Memorial Day

This year we celebrated Memorial Day by going to the Denver zoo.   We have lived here for almost 6 years and we had never been, and thought it would be a great activity to do with Bristol.

I also bought Bristol this great hat for our trip and couldn't stop taking her picture in it because I thought she was so dang cute.

We saw lots of great animals-

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

birds...

 

 

foxes...

 

 

tigers...

 

elephants...

 

and Bristol made a new best friend

 

 

 

 

We also all got to measure ourselves compared to a polar bear

 

 

 

Brian and Bristol explored the huts in the elephant exhibits.

 

And of course more great pictures of cute baby in the hat

 

 

And for anyone who read my memorial day post from a couple years ago- we also successfully came home and barbequed some hamburgers and hotdogs.  A great ending to a great day!
